TARGET BLU EYE: AN EYE FOR SAFETY

WARNS YOU OF APPROACHING EMERGENCY SERVICES SUCH AS MARKED AND UNMARKED POLICE CARS, AMBULANCES AND FIRE ENGINES

Target Blu Eye is a unique and worldwide patented traffic safety system that warns you in advance of approaching emergency service vehicles. In the UK all the emergency services use Tetra radios and Target Blu Eye will let you know when they are close come day or night. So whilst driving at night, even if the emergency vehicle is not using their lights or sirens, Target Blue will alert you of their presence up to a kilometre radius.

Target Blu Eye uses both visual and audible warnings to let you know what’s out there. Within seconds of an emergency vehicle being in the radius, the signal will be activated and the signal strength meter in your vehicle will give you enough warning allowing you move safely out of the way.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Target Blu Eye is based on TETRA technology, in the UK it is known as the Airwave Network which is widely used for the communication between different emergency services. Due to this highly advanced technology, Target Blu Eye is able to warn you in advance of approaching emergency services, such as:

POLICE CARS (MARKED & UNMARKED CARS)
POLICE MOTORCYCLES
AMBULANCES
FIRE ENGINES

IS IT LEGAL?

Yes, the use of Target Blu Eye is legal since the system is only informing the driver whether an emergency service vehicle is nearby. Moreover, Target Blu Eye cannot differentiate between police vehicles, ambulances or fire engines. You will be warned of all types of emergency vehicles in the same way. We would like to emphasize that Target Blu Eye is not able to decode the radio messages broadcasted by the Airwave network.

WILL IT WORK IN EUROPE?

The Tetra network for emergency services is also used in The Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia, Germany (nationwide in 2014), Austria, Scandinavia, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Hungary and Italy. Coverage is variable and cannot be guaranteed and may be regional.

Meaning once you have a product installed, you can phone your vehicles insurance company straight away and see if you can get a discount with your insurer.

Our engineers are Thatcham TRI approved meaning you have the very best and experienced auto electricians working on your vehicle.

Average booking times are between 1-5 working days depending on your area and the engineers schedule.

How do I know the product I am purchasing comes with installation? Simple on the add to basket tab it will have ( Supplied and fitted in the grey box ) making it simple to understand which products come with installation within the price. Most alarms, immobilisers, trackers and parking sensors come with installation, due to them being a professional fit item.

How does the booking / mobile installation work ?

You place an order / pay in full online.
We review order / make sure the product you have purchased is suitable for your vehicle.
We check the location, all our engineer's in that location are emailed.
we / Auto Defence awaits booking dates from engineer's.
We then email you ( On the email provided at the payment page ) the available dates an engineer can get over.
